Huntington Harbor 5-9-09

First time fishing HH. Went up to check it out and get my bearings for the tournament next month. Pretty slow day for fish. Only legal was a nice sandbass. 1 short SB, 1 halibut, 1 zingpow, and 1 good one came unbuttoned. I fished 3" swimbaits with UniButter scent and crank baits.
HH reminded of Newport but less crowded. I really enjoyed all the statues those rich folk spend their money on.

Boy, you sure have to look in some out of the way obscure places to find a Hobie Tom report these days.

The tide was pretty similiar to T -day. So as one of my Ex slutty girls friends used to say "It doesnt bode well!"

So where is your "Honey Hole?"

Found the golden dock with spotties bustin out from under it this morning. Sight casting on boilin spotties. Water was 67.5-68.2 and turning it on.
