More Big PV Bass
Took Jeff T out on the new ride today, for the "Team Charlie" reunion tour and what a tour it was.
Hit up the spots that were cranking on Monday for a big zero. Headed up and stopped on a spot of kelp. Saw a little boil and motored over to toss a bait to em. My bait splashed and then a big swirl followed by the familiar "tink" in the line and then straight into the kelp. I worked the boat a bit as I could feel the fish pulling line thru the kelp. Jeff says "how does it feel", I says "ah.. doesn't feel too big". Then it comes out of the kelp and I'm screaming to Jeff "get the net". Pulled in this bad boy. http://www.yourfishpictures.com/data/500/Cali83.jpg http://www.yourfishpictures.com/data...li8-3scale.jpg My new personal best. We caught a few more at differnet spots and ran into some slimers by Vicente Rock. Water is warm all the way from HH to Vicente. Ed |

Re: More Big PV Bass and the hits just keep coming
Yeah, the bag is in my car.
As for the fish, I posted the smaller of the 2 photos with weights first. It was rough and hard to get an accurate reading but it settled at this on the second attempt. I kinda like the bigger fish 9.2... http://seatech.photosite.com/~photos...2138648812.jpg |
Re: More Big PV Bass
Ed,
Saying congrats seems to come up short on this photo ;) I think AWESOME would be more appropriate. I also think some of those bass are going to get lockjaw from you working the same areas a few days in a row, LOL. All I can really say is I wish I had been there to see a bass that large, and how stoked you must have been to experience that :thumbup TC&TL, Perry |
