Avet SX
 

what brand of rod do you think would be good for an avet sx. i want an 8 foot rod (nothing shorter and nothing longer). i will be using it off of piers and briedges for snook and tarpon. i don't think it would be a good kayak reel based on a thread on bigwatersedge.com. i am going to get a black one speed sx. i have two rods that i think i would like but i don't know if they will be too big. here is the link for the first rod i'm interested
