Pontoon trolling motor
I have a small pontoon (float tube, as I call it) that will not handle a trolling motor. I have seen a "kicker tube" that holds the battery and motor. It sits between the pontoons and pushes - slick deal - Sports Authority carried them at one time. If anyone has a lead on where to find these now, I would appreciate hearing about it. Just don't like to paddle against the wind here in Nevada (or anywhere).

Welcome to our forums :hello Theres a few different ones you can choose from to power a float tube. One is the powertube which should be the first photo. They're website is http://www.powrtube.com. The second one is made by BW Sports and is called the BW Sports Power Tube. They are about $100 and if you do a google search for them, you find numerous places to buy them. I never used either of these. The only one I used was the power float which was rotomolded like a kayak. It is no longer made, and I have tried for the last few years to find the guy that used to make them and nobody knows where he is now. Anyway, hope these help and if you get a photos or two of you in your float tube, please remember us over here. TC&TL,

Perry,
I think you may have put up the wrong web address. I did a google search and came up with http://www.powrtube.com/powrtub.htm . Hank :brews |

Hank,
Thanks for catching that. I'm pretty good about checking that kind of stuff, but that must have slipped by. Take Care, Perry |
