i have a 2 inch crack on bottom of x-factor. whats the best way to fix?
its yellow and about 4 years old. leak starts at scupper hole and goes about 2 inches. thanks |

Best bet is to take it in to one of the OEX shops and see if they can fix it or if it can be fixed.

got a piece of plastic that kayak is made of.
used a wood burning iron to melt plastic, it worked great. i was going to use a small propane torch, glad i didnt, i would have probably burnt hole in boat. |

Really depends upon the material as to which your kayak is made from. Plastic ones are easier to repair, as to the ones made from carbon fiber or fiber glass....
