Have not fished off Seal Beach for a couple weeks. Quick, before work session. Small surf, just the way I like it, wait for one to hit and push off beyond the lil pounders......cake! Stuck to the jetti this morning. Got a couple sandbass (one 16 incher for WCB submission), one short wsb and a short halibut on Whams and Big Hammers buttered up. I have caught some decent calicos in the past, but none today. Water was 69-70 and felt warmer than the air. Back on the beach at 8:35 and to work with 5 minutes to spare.
