Checked out the Garmin 76CX today. It looks good with tide charts, moon phases, floats, IPX7, lots of waypoint memory, and as you said landwhale, larger screen. Think this is what I'll look for. A little expensive, but probably worth it and it should work in my vehicle on trips as well.

Thanks guys for the suggestions and input! (now to come up with the funds?!)
