Thanks for the report bud. I wanted to make the trip with you, but dared not . I'm glad to see the creature baits are working good around the islands, they have been doing pretty well on the bass for myself also. Last time I used a 5" Mogambo (talk about retro) which was working pretty good for myself. The islands are one place I have always wanted to hit that area at night with another yakker or two for safety. Think you may be interested? Perry

I'd be up for a night launch. Lets try to get something together. This would be a great place for a night launch when the grunion start to come through. So flat and calm but we could easily work the surf from the outside.
Have you ever seen the episode of Inside Sportfishing where they are catching threshers inside the harbor right in tight to the islands? Pretty cool to see those guys pulling on the long tails with the Queen Mary right in the background. Davey
