Welcome to our website With what you said, something along the lines of a Malibu Kayaks Pro Explorer or similar model may be a good fit for you, or a Cobra or Ocean Kayaks brand also. Our "kayak models" section here has alot of models listed with specs and what not for them. To demo one of the Malibu's, you could goto OEX in San Diego(I believe) or in Orange County or the Malibu Kayaks store in Sunset Beach, a they always have a off season rental kayak sale.
