So far I’ve tried the Calico hot sauce, pro-cure in sardine, smelly jelly in anchovy. Sometimes they made a difference and sometimes they didn’t. My neighbor gave me a bottle of uni butter last weekend. I’ve heard some really good things about this product and can’t wait to get it a try. The one product with a scent that has worked almost every time is GULP aka fish crack. I've heard that the GULP juice will be for sale in the near future.

Different world, Texas Gulf coast and we don't have all the options. Here Gulp works great, just match the hook size to the bait and fish like any other plastic. As for which one to choose, it seems like the same rules apply as selecting plastics. Thanks for the omega 3 tip. A new weapon in my assonal. |

Like the 4" new penny shrimp and the 4" smelt very much in the Gulp. Down in bahia de Los Angeles a while ago I was using old, stale pieces of Gulp which had been fished many times and the fish ate it all - did not matter what color or how old.
