Hey Perry, Sorry about the long post, I can go on. Actually I have a couple of Hobies now. I have an Outback Mirage and the Hobie Adventure. The Adventure is my new favorite Kayak. It's like a Tarpon with pedales.
What do you mean you don't flyfish from a kayak!!!!!  The Pacific Ocean at your door step and your not casting flies in it. You need looking after. I'm coming down there. As far as weight goes. Far bass and butts Nothing smaller than a 9wt. I''m actually thinking a bit bigger.
