Thanks for the report and congrats on getting out fishing. I know what you're saying about hali's in the shallows. I've had the smaller ones chase a swimbait right up to the point where they saw the kayak before turning away. Too bad the larger ones don't have the same bad habit, although that's probably why they got to be larger in the first place instead of table fare . Talk to you soon,
