Seal Beach 6-21

Met up with Andy at 5:30am and made the long drag across the sand to the water (Wheelez in the future get to old to drag the kayak on my own beach) Launched into smallllllll surf in what felt like fall weather.



Worked my way out the jetty to the end



caught one sandie on the way out



Worked the end of the jetty for nada usually can find one calico and out a ways finding nothing. Then headed back along the jetty toward the beach picking up one sandie on the drop shot white fluke buttered up



and 3 more sandies. Move into 7 to 10 feet of water and worked toward the jetty picking up on short halibut.

Glad you made it through that brutal surf launch. Too bad the checkers didn't want to play but you still got a bunch of sandies.
Yeah, nothing like wheeleez for the soft stuff for us old farts.
