David sent us this photo of his nice looking eighteen inch Calico Bass he caught while fishing the Dana Point area in his Malibu Kayaks eXtreme kayak. Bass and other inshore fish are prime targets for kayak anglers as they are often found within hundreds of yards from shore.

Also in the photo are his fish finder for seeing what's below him, portable hand held marine VHF radio for keeping in touch with other boats or requesting assistance if needed, and his GPS unit.
