Marty aka "Kayak Jack"sez: Here is a recent photo taken at Swanson Lake in Southwest Nebraska. I have a 27" Wiper there in the picture caught on a live minnow. My sea kayak is rigged with fish finder, live bait well, fish basket, 7 rod holders, and many more small features.

NOTE: Although alot of us primarily think of saltwater angling from our kayaks, they also get alot of use in freshwater lakes and reservoirs. In Southern California, while kayak fishing in freshwater, Trout and Largemouth Bass are some of the more popular species targeted.

Slow trolling for Trout with lures, and fishing for Largemouth Bass utilize the kayaks strengths, slow controlled trolling and stealth.
