Portable Bait Bucket Sabiki Bait Catching Rig Sabiki Holder

LEFT: A portable style bait bucket made by Plano. They usually have some type of cord or rope added to their handles with a snap for securing them to eyelets found on kayaks. They are usually placed on deck while moving about, then lowered into the water when you are fishing or drifting. Keeping a few baits alive for hours is within reach using one. Don't put too many baits in them, and lower them into the water to often to exchange the water with fresh.

CENTER: A common "Sabiki" style bait catching rig. There are several manufacturers of them. They come is several sizes, and it's best you match the size of the Sabiki to the bait you hope to catch. The hooks are razor sharp, and care is called for when using or handling them.

RIGHT: A home-made Sabiki holder made out of a pool noodle. I wrap the Sabiki around the noodle, burying the hooks as I go. I them put it into a plastic container, usually a peanut butter jar. I also carry a can of cat food in it to chum with if needed.
