As you can see in the photo, this is a very portable and serviceable design. A "Bait Bucket" is used to keep a few baits alive,
and is placed on deck behind the paddler. Typically, you place these on deck while moving about, then place them in the water
to exchange the water inside with fresh water while drifting.
The "Fishing Crate" in front of the paddler comes off when not being used. I contains a few rod holders probably made out of
inexpensive PVC pipe. He has a fish finder display mounted to the crate also. A battery is in the crate, and the transducer is in the water.
Most use these "fishing crates" behind them, but anywhere that is convenient for you is correct.
