Here you can see a Perception recreational kayak modified a bit for kayak fishing. In the UPPER photo, in the bow under the cord, you can see the kayak bilge pump for emergency use, which is a very smart idea in a kayak like this Perception that has an enclosed cockpit. In the front of the kayaks cockpit, on the floor to the right of the tracking channel is the transducer or puck for the fish finder. Since most of us use out fish finders in our fishing kayaks for locations bottom structure or bait fish, they defiantly have a place in recreational kayaks used for fishing.
In the LOWER photo, you can see a home made kayak fishing rod holder made from what looks like an inexpensive cutting board that has been bent in the middle, definitely an ingenious setup of how to mount accessories for fishing on a kayak.
