Gotta be somebody there from New England! You had the Cape Cod clambake down pat! Made me nostalgic. I'm promised a full blown clambake next time I bring my family backto Massachusetts. My cousin's hubby Cazi's gonna do the honors! seeing your bash just made me think about headin east this summer! We do it in a barrel with alternate layers of rockweed and hot rocks about halfway up, then new potatoes, clams, lobsters, fish, Portuguese linguica sausage, corn on the cob, etc. Then the barrel is closed with a canvas which is tied onto it. The whole thing steams while everyone parties for an hour or two. Looks like you guys nailed it down! Great party!
