Default Re: Hobie Mirage Revolution photos

I picked up a Rev on loan from Hobie for a couple weeks and spent some time in it last weekend; I normally fish the Hobie Adventure.

The Revolution is a bit more stable than the Adventure and has the same carrying capacity, they accomplished this by adding some depth and building in some bouyancy. It's most noticeable in the "bubble butt" shape on the rear. This boat is much drier than the Adventure and I loved it! It has a nice long cockpit and myself (215#), an 8 gallon bait tank, 5 rods sat comfortably above the waterline.

Getting it on and off the car was a lot easier given the shorter length. Honestly, I'm going to try and trade in my Adventure for one of these. The Adventure might get an edge in open water and long paddles but not by much.
