I have fished from one a dozen or so times and they are a well built kayak. The one main drawback to them in my opinion are the hatch sizes. You can get a dry bag below deck no problem, but you may be restricted when you go to put something below deck which has any length to it.

Like Jack said though, if you don't think you'll need much below deck storage, one may do the trick. You could put a small cooler in back of the seat and a few dry bags in front with your gear in them. If you plan to carry alot of gear, you may run out of room before you know it. Hope this helps,
