Yakfishing used to be one of my favorites also. I was on it when Mark Hunter ran it before it was sold to Allen from Allen's Kayaks. It's pretty sad, but I had to shut down one of the manufacturers message boards a few weeks ago because it had literally over thousands of bogus posts and registered members. Most of the posts/links were like the ones you're describing.

We get it here in different areas, but I get most of it before most people see it. When it gets really bad, I'll shut the forum down for a week or so and let the spiders from the spam bots see the forum is off, then it stops for quite awhile. Sometimes when I get the spam PM's or users complain to me about getting them, I'll disable the PM feature for a bit, then it also stops. Of course, turning the forum on and off isn't good for it by any means, but I would need another moderator to be sure the dirt would be swept away when it got dirty. Take Care and talk to you soon,
