Good to see you out and around again. I recently picked up one of the Shimano Curado 300 DSV's and have used it bassing. I think it's the best casting reel I have in my arsenal. I have a few older Curados which are real nice also. I also have one of the Diawa Coastal reels that is also a very, very nice reel for the $ of about $120. I think the Curados have the edge, but they also have a heftier price tag. I'm looking at getting one of the 200 series also, they are that nice. Hope this helps, Perry
