Hi Davey,
The Tarpon is a very sweet ride, But it took me a couple outings to feel really comfortable on it... I went from a Extreme which is wider and more stable. The first day out on my Tarpon at Newport I ran into Mark Pierpoint and watched him crawl around the boat and figured if he can do it I can do it. Now I love the way it paddles, But its a bear to turn it around because of its length... The only other boat I would consider right now would be the new Hobie adventure... That thing flys on the water... It's like anything new !!! you'll get used to it... See ya out there !!! Dave
