Congrats on the fishing you guys.
Bob, I took the hypalon off the 708 with the bad reel seat, now I have to remove the old reel seat. I have a dremel at home, do you think if I cut the seat longitudinally in 4 cuts, I may be able to hit it on the belt sander and save the blank? I don't need to get it perfect as I can relocate the seat forward a few inches and not cause a problem, and would use a longer piece of rear hypo and cover where the original seat location was. Whadda 'ya think? Perry
