Big Bear Lake

I was on Big Bear last summer but it was in July. I read all the fishing reports and tried lead core line for trolling. I got one crappie all morning. BOOO!!! And they want $25 just to launch. I slipped my kayak in without using the launch ramp and sure enought the ranger found me without the sticker and kindly asked me to get off the water. I wish I could tell you more. Good luck and send back a report. Id love to know more about the lake.
