Scupper cart wheels

The Hobie wheels I have are similar to the bottom rubber wheels in the bottom of the photo above. I have to stop and rest twice on the way across the Coast Guard beach - going straight to the rest room corner. Once I reach the cement they go very well.

The plastic wheels were about 3" wide and worked a bit better on the loose sand.

The big wheels would require carrying all the way back to the vehicle for storage as much delay as resting going across the sand.
