Kayak Fishing the South Bay beaches of L.A. - any help here?

I think some good areas you might be looking into would be Newport Harbour and Dana Point. I have fished both of these areas and I enjoy them. Easy launches and you can stay inside the harbors or move out to the ocean areas without too much drama.
